Efficiency Assessments was the first Company in Australia dedicated to building sustainability and efficiency. We always have and always will aim to explore efficiency in all its forms.

Efficiency Assessments commenced providing high quality building energy efficiency services when energy efficiency policy began to gain momentum in New South Wales. We were amongst the first assessors accredited to use house energy rating software in Australia and draw on our extensive experience in the building industry, local government and energy efficient building design to continue to provide a high quality service.

We pride ourselves on being at forefront of the energy efficiency and house energy rating in Australia. We are accredited NatHERS Assessors holding accreditation with Design Matters National (DMN).

We were founding members of the NatHERS industry and have held board, staff and contractor positions over the years.. We continue to align ourselves with associations representing the future of the building sustainability industry. We have been involved in project work with local, state and federal government departments in an advisory and consultative capacity.

We are accredited to use three software packages referenced by the National Protocol for House Energy Rating. These are Accurate, BERS Pro and FirstRate5. We have been using BASIX since its inception and are highly skilled users of the online tool. We have an unparalleled understanding of how the tools and the legislation work together throughout Australia.

Over the years our services have grown to incorporate Section J Assessments for Commercial developments, detailed analysis and temperature profiling, design and specification advice, education and training programs, Government research, conference appearances and assistance to other Assessors.

We offer our services to all persons and types of development throughout Australia as we have an exceptional knowledge of various State and Territory legislation, the Building Code of Australia and the Building Sustainability index (BASIX). We work with owner builders, designers, builders, project home companies and developers to achieve cost effective results in a timely and efficient manner. We aim to keep our prices reasonable and in proportion with the type of development proposed. No project is too big or too small.

Our service can be tailored to each individual so that the process of meeting the sustainability requirements fits in with your time frames and schedules. Turnaround remains at under a week, dependent on the complexity of the job. We have multiple highly skilled assessors available at any given time to ensure prompt turnaround. High quality outputs are important to our business and we maintain stringent Quality Assurance controls to ensure consistency in rating and advice.
